HELPING STUDENTS TO BUILD THEIR CAREERS

THE CAREERS SERVICE

Our careers service aims to help each student to look for jobs and to select companies, as well as advising our students on what they need to do to achieve their objectives.
BBI helps students prepare for their future careers by organizing careers events every year in partnership with leading international companies.

FINANCING STUDIES

Students wishing to finance their studies themselves, by means of a bank loan, are able to make inquiries concerning the procedure to be followed via the institute.
The conditions for such financing are the competencies of the bank alone, with which the student deals directly, without the intervention of BBI.

WORKING DURING STUDIES

All registered students for a full academic year are allowed to have a “Student Job” to support part of their living cost and creates the opportunity to introduce the student to the working life in the country. However work is only allowed during the student’s free time, meaning outside normal school hours (During weekends, school holidays and evenings only).

COMPUTER RESOURCES

Students have full access to the computer-room during the class open days and even during holiday periods (schedule on the student board). Hands-on experience is important in understanding computer software and hardware requirements. Students can get this experience in the computer-room where they can create all documents needed for their class assignments, or test the programs they write to solve different business problems and/or personal documents.

Computers offer full access to internet and own e mail account and each student received upon request a login giving high-speed access to BBI web page. Application programs are accessible through a Microsoft Windows-based menu. Any technical problem occurring with computers should be immediately reported to the General Administrator in charge of IT.

Personal Computer

Students having their own laptop have internet and e-mail almost anywhere on campus.

Computer Fidelio Laboratory

A separate laboratory equipped with specific laptop program is at the student’s disposal for the course BA 1014 related to “Opera Property Management System”. This system simulates a true hotel environment from front desk to night audit.

LIBRARY RESOURCES

Library holds more than 2200 volumes, books, journals and periodicals in English and various other languages to serve the student’s research needs; and the number is increasing all the time. Students have full access to books and other materials available, during the class open hours and even during holidays period (schedule on the student board), provided they abide by the regulations. For the magazines and newspapers they are shelved in open stacks in the cafeteria. Users may obtain assistance from any faculty member, who can provide guidance and specialist advice on individual subjects of study.
