Its members work in all sectors of the industry and in over 100 countries worldwide. Its main objective is to promote professionalism through lifelong learning.

It does this by engaging with hospitality educators around the world to make available the resources of its knowledge library. The IoH aims to support all its members at every stage of their careers and help them reach their full potential. Every part of the industry is supported: managers, students, educators and suppliers. Resources include publications, management guides and research, covering all disciplines of business management.
