BBI Luxembourg seeks validation with QMU

Since the beginning of 2019, BBI Luxembourg has been looking into opportunities to providing additional quality assurance in regards to its programmes. After a period of discussion and exchange between BBI Luxembourg and a variety of foreign institutions, the choice has finally been made towards an educational and validation partnership with Queen Margaret University.

Founded in 1875, originally as the Edinburgh School of Cookery, Queen Margaret University was recently named Scotland's top modern university, being ranked 29th out of 73 modern universities accross the UK as a whole.

Currently BBI Luxembourg is actively going through the validation process. This includes a visit by the QMU validation commission, planned for a visit in Spring 2020.

"Even though, we have a lot of work ahead of us as to align BBI's programmes and procedures to QMU's high standards, we are very confident that the validation process will go smoothly," confirms Hans DE MEYER, Director of Marketing & Business Development. "We expect to have the validation approved and sealed by the start of next academic year 2020-2021," he continues, "Several visits and meetings with representatives of both institutions have already taken place over the last months and we managed to establish that both our core values and care for students are very much aligned."
