“PROGRAMMES ACCREDITATION”

OUR PROGRAMMES are accredited by the prestigious WORLD TOURISM ORGANISATION. As a result BBI is now the first one in Belgium to be fully accredited by the WTO-THEMIS Foundation which is a branch of UNESCO worldwide recognized organisation. It will open new professional perspectives for our student’s holder of a BBI degree.

WTO TEDQUAL

The World Tourism Organisation and its WTO-THEMIS Foundation have developed the “TedQual Certification System” (Tourism Education Quality) with the aim of contributing quality and efficiency to the application of the rules of the game in the Hospitality and Tourism Education. The “TedQual” is a Quality Assurance for higher education available to all teaching institutions, public or private, from any country in the world. By establishing “TedQual” WTO aims to set a quality assurance system so that gradually, standardization is obtained in terms of management, structure and organization.

The “TedQual” takes into account that the Institution should seek competitiveness within a frame of reference through the same market criteria which would be applied to any private entity, and which is perfectly compatible with the objectives of a public nature. It should not be ignored that education programmes are judged by the students and employers in the industry under same criteria (cost of matriculation, length of studies, acceptance of the degree by the sector, time for adaptation to industry needs, etc). The methodological framework of the “TedQual” is based on Total Quality which provides the means to detect gaps between the needs/expectations of professionals and output of the education programmes and systems. It also facilitates the subsequent adjustment of methods and contents to the real demand for human resources

OUR INSTITUTE is licensed by “The Educational Institute of The American Hotel and Lodging Association USA”. This Higher Education Programme licence detained by BBI is exclusive for Belgium and Luxemburg. EI foundation is recognized worldwide as being the principal leader in the field of teaching and professional training for international hotel and tourism management.

Pour répondre aux besoins hautement spécifiques du secteur de l'hôtellerie internationale et du tourisme, BBI a intégré, à ses propres programmes, le support didactique d'une institution mondialement reconnue comme étant l’un des leaders, dans le domaine de l'enseignement et de la formation professionnelle en management international.

A ce titre,  elle est présente dans plus de 120 pays et dans plus de 1000 institutions d'enseignements. Basée aux USA depuis cinq décennies, E.I. est une fondation éducative à but non lucratif. Elle est reconnue par « The US Department of Education » et est également accréditée par « The Accrediting Commission of the National H.S.C. ». En collaboration avec plusieurs universités dont, « Michigan State University » E.I. est le moteur de recherche pédagogique et forme le lien crucial entre l’enseignement universitaire en managementhôtelier et le monde professionnel de l’industrie hôtelière internationale et du tourisme.

Les modules d’enseignement EI, dispensés par BBI, correspondent à un nombre de crédits. Le transfert des crédits obtenus donne droit aux certificats correspondants, délivrés par EI. Ces crédits déterminent en partie le droit au « Bachelor Degree » et/ou au « Master Degree ». Ils sont particulièrement prisés par le monde professionnel et sont donc un sérieux atout pour nos étudiants.
